Partitions
We can supply and fit all ranges of partitioning systems to suit your layout, design and sound proofing requirements.
Demountable
More commonly known as composite, aluminium sections are fixed vertically client's desired layout and configuration and filled with a hollow fibre board.
A quick and easy solution which, as the name suggests, can be taken down and re-used in different configurations if ever required in the future.
Possibly one of the most cost effective partitioning systems on the market today.
Metal Stud
'C section' metal posts are used here to form the skeleton of the walls in the desired layout. Clad either side with plasterboard which is screwed onto the metal studs. All joints are flush filled, then sanded to a perfectly flat finish ready for decoration in the style of your choice. Can be painted or papered in the traditional way.
Much more of a permanent fixture and usually cannot be dismantled or moved once complete.
Glass Partitions/Screens
These are great for the ultra modern, contemporary feel and of course, to allow maximum light and give that 'airy' feeling of space.
Can be single or double glazed and are usually full height (floor to ceiling).
Double glazed screens can be fitted with internal blinds operated by a thumb-turn on the uprights between each glass panel.
Silicone-joined Glazed Screens
Normally incorporated in solid stud partition walls to give vary a stylish and contemporary feel whilst allowing more light to the surrounding areas.
Ceilings
There are now numerous ways of effecting beautiful ceilings and at H & M Commercial Interiors, we are happy to discuss your desired look-and-feel and survey the existing ceiling before making our recommendations to you.
In all cases though, a suspended ceiling will hide any wires, cables or pipework above it and leave you with a perfectly finished ceiling that will incorporate any new lighting to give your workspace the feeling and atmosphere you desire.
Joinery
Our joinery workshops are based in Buckinghamshire and are fully equipped with the latest machinery and highly skilled, experienced carpenters and joiners.
We can make almost anything, from any available timber, either totally stand alone, or to match perfectly with existing/period joinery items.
Our spindle moulders can replicate mouldings for doors, architraves, skirting boards, dado and picture rails and all other items can be tailor made to suit all shapes and sizes.
Doors can be manufactured to standard or bespoke sizes and can be full height (floor to ceiling) if required.
Finishes to all joinery items can be painted, varnished, traditionally French polished or they can be finished in another way, if you so require and if possible.
Electrical
All of our electricians are NICEIC registered, qualified and highly experienced in all aspects of this very important trade.
We are happy to 'fit only' your chosen electrical fittings or we can supply and fit if you would prefer.
All electrical works can be undertaken by H & M Commercial Interiors.
Building Works
As with almost every commercial refurbishment project, there will be an amount of building work to be carried out before the actual refurbishment can begin.
This could mean some demolition of existing walls and ceilings, staircases being taken out, new ones being put in, new walls being built etc. Plus all of the associated trades, moving electrical cables, plumbing and heating pipework etc. Then there is all of the 'making good', filling, plastering etc.
At H & M Commercial Interiors, we carry the full compliment of labourers and skilled tradesmen to effectively carry out all of the required and necessary building works prior to, and after and fitting out works can be completed.
Interior Decoration
Experience has taught us at the end of a re-fit, re-model or total refurbishment of any building, all of the hard work that has gone into getting the building ready for you to enjoy can be eliminated in a few foul swoops of a badly wielded paint brush.
The decoration at the end of the project can make or break the whole job; that is why all of our decorators (just like everyone else connected to H & M Commercial Interiors) are both highly qualified and massively experienced.
They are all very proud of their professions and carry out every job as though their lives depended on it.
Decorators know that they are the 'last man out' (apart from the cleaners) and that the whole project will live or die based on the standard of the decoration.
Our guys work to perfection and will not cut any corners in their pursuit to achieve decoration to the highest possible standard but, we'll let you be the judges.
